  DON'T GET NAILS DONE HERE!!!
  I went to this salon to have my acrylics taken off. Firstly I was waiting ages and finally when the lady started complaining and tutting, she got impatient because the nails were taking a while to soak off even though they was in the acetone for only a few minutes (these things take time) so she started pressing very hard with the electric nail drill to get them off which started to burn my nail beds which are still after 3 weeks very sore and red and the shellac I had applied started peeling days after where the polish was applied too thick and not given enough time to dry because they were closing at 6!! She cut my nails down very short without asking whilst pubically discussing how much hair was being waxed off a man in the back room, unprofessional!! My nails currently are split in the middle, very weak and sore. I would never go back here again, I sometimes think are some of them even qualified as the skills and professionalism is poor. I now have to spend further money to have my nails mended with nail extensions in a shop that is reliable!

  Just had an amazing experience at Strand. I was served by a lovely polish nail technician. Sometimes getting your nails done can be slightly awkward experience, however this talented young lady made the whole experience relaxing and pleasurable! Would 100% recommend and will be back myself. I could not be happier with the work she did.
